Throughout this mentorship you will partner with Hello Black Child's CEO, Gabrielle Garrett. That's me! You may know me as "Localblackchild" or you may not know me at all...and that's fine...I guess! I graduated college in 2022 and received my bachelors degree in Marketing with a minor in Digital Marketing from West Chester University! I mean business and I know what the hell I'm talking about! I know it, you know it, we all know it!
While I was living in my dorm room, I created the idea for my brand. It's a long story...but you'll read about it soon. Just a few months later I launched Hello Black Child in June of 2020. I started with just T shirts, lashes, necklaces and earrings. Each were priced under $25. Four years later, here I am! I have accumulated over $1,000,000 in revenue and have sold to over 17,000 customers. Don't believe me? Yea...I'm not the type of person to flaunt receipts of my sales because that's kinda ughhhh, so you're going to have to trust me on this! I pinky promise.
I know that it's so freakin' hard to grow a business. From not knowing where to start to being stuck and not knowing how to keep moving forward. Trust me, I know.
